Guy Allott is a painter and sculptor who was born in England in 1972 and lives and works in London. His paintings depict objects in landscapes which can appear both surreal and apocalyptic. Quite often there is the existence of two worlds within one pictorial composition. In a similar manner to that often described by Caspar David Friedrich, Allott too has compiled a highly personal landscape of longing.
