Wendy Wischer creates work in a variety of media from sculptures, to installations, video and public works. Much of the artwork is blurrs the separation between the intrinsic history of working with nature and the cutting edge of New Genre. She is the recipient of several grants including the Pollock-Krasner Grant, the South Florida Consortium, and the Florida Individual Artist Fellowship. Wendy has exhibited extensively nationally, and internationally. Her work is in several public collections including the Miami Art Museum and Art in Public Places Miami Beach. Born in Wisconsin 1971, Wischer lives in Salt Lake City.
